Frank J. Hanna III Tells What Money Means


Frank J. Hanna III is a merchant banker in Atlanta, Georgia and has started and backed a number of successful businesses. In 1989, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Account Portfolios. Also, from 1988 to 1990, Mr. Hanna served as Finance and Administration Group Vice President of Nationwide Credit. In addition, he has also served as CEO of HBR Capital, Ltd, an administrative services firm, since 1992. He has been Director of CompuCredit Corporation since April 1999. He serves as Director of Cerulean Companies, Inc in addition to have serving as Director of A M Miller & Associates Inc. since September 21, 1995. Prior to joining Nationwide Credit, Frank J. Hanna III practiced corporate law in Atlanta. He earned his JD degree, cum laude, and a BBA in Finance as a first honor graduate from the University of Georgia. Most importantly, he has held the position of CEO of Hanna Capital, LLC investment firm since 2006. He previously held a corporate attorney position with Troutman Sanders, an Atlanta law firm. He was one of three entrepreneurs profiled in the Acton Institute’s documentary film, The Call of the Entrepreneur.

Frank J. Hanna III has been highly involved in promoting educational liberty for the last 24 years, helping to start three new Catholic schools in Atlanta, leading various efforts for school reform, and chairing the President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans. Mr. Hanna has been a frequent speaker on business and stewardship. He is author of the book What Your Money Means. Mr. Hanna is also the founder of the Solidarity Foundation. Among other efforts, the Solidarity Foundation recently obtained the oldest extant copy of portions of the Gospels of Luke and John and then gave it to the Vatican.
